Website
Collaborating on this project with Matt from Ucan was truly rewarding. I was tasked to create a website that effectively communicated their values and objectives while reflecting their unique brand. Ucan is dedicated to offering personalised training and work experience opportunities for individuals with additional support needs, including those with learning disabilities and mental health challenges. Our goal was to design a website that highlights their incredible work and the positive impact they make.
I developed the website using Squarespace because one of Ucan's goals was to give them the ability to edit and expand upon their content. Following a training session designed to teach the team how to create and modify pages, they now have full control over their website.
Brand
Ucan had a logo, but lacked a comprehensive set of brand guidelines. My initial task was to develop a straightforward set of guidelines that defined the primary color palette (their colour palette was very vast) and fonts. Additionally, I focused on identifying graphical elements that could be consistently applied across all assets, ultimately breathing life into the brand and infusing it with personality!
Primary Colour Palette
“Genuinely great to work with someone who got what we do and what message we were trying to promote.
Our last website was overly complicated, had no real message and tbh was dull. This is a bright and inviting site that captures the culture we aim to promote whilst being manageable for the layman (like me!)
Thanks Clare!”
